These irons are made in Korea, not in China. We have had negative experiences with the irons & dryers from China.
These are my favorites, and both my professional and retail customers will tell you that these last. As a home use iron expect to get 5-years plus out it, unless you keep dropping it on the floor or leave it plugged in 24/7.
Just a note if you do drop your flat iron on the floor or hit it on something hard, inspect it before you use it again. The plates should always line up evenly, side to side and top to bottom. If they are not lined up then you will not be placing even pressure and heat through the hair and you should send it in for a repair, even if there is a cost involved. I know, but you can't live without your iron for 2-3 weeks. But is having torn split hair worth waiting?
